UPR Ultralight Plate Rack

The ULTRALIGHT PLATE RACK (UPR) is a minimal coverage platform built for operators who want hard armor coverage with minor scalability. Designed to be as light and compact as possible, UPR is a specialty armor plate rack ideal for missions like aerial platform, maritime assault, vertical access, or linear assault.
UPR is a “hard armor first” design that utilizes hard armor rifle plates for torso protection with a soft armor ballistic cummerbund. The plate rack can be further scaled up with ab/spine and groin protection as well as a hard armor cummerbund, or scaled down with a non-ballistic cummerbund.
Our newest version of the UPR now includes internal and external wire routing channels, the ability to scale up to our FLEX or FLEXAROO Loadout Systems, and a wider cummerbund for the L and XL sizes.
Key features for UPR include:
- Ultralight and compact design for high velocity operations, or those requiring the broadest possible range of motion
- "Structured-Texture" shoulder design provides a soft, natural, and high friction shooting platform unencumbered by buckles, straps, external pads, or overlapping armor
- SAPI based platform sizing to scale hard armor coverage to the individual operator and provide greater protection for larger operators
- Webless or Traditional MOLLE/PALS load bearing surfaces
- Flex or Flexaroo Loadout System options
- Internal and External Wire Routing Channels
- Bar tacked anchors for the installation of P7 ILB Packs and 1PS Single Point Slings
- First-Spear Tubes closure system for secure closure and rapid donning and doffing
- User replaceable cummerbund elastic
- Available in Medium, Large, and X-Large platform sizes with eight different cummerbund sizes to ensure perfect fit

Start with the SAPI plate size of choice on left, then find your corresponding measurement around the largest part of your chest. The cummerbund size will be at the top of the column.
Tips:
- Measure the largest part of your chest
- Measure yourself in a t-shirt
- Keep in mind you will need the ability to expand the cummerbund to accommodate items in the internal pockets (radios, TASERs) and additional clothing layers, so size up if in between sizes.
